Will the truck get to my lot?

This is a critical step in your home purchasing planning process. Before you go and buy a lot to put one of our modular houses on, there are several things to consider. The home will be delivered to your lot location on a transport truck. Therefore the roadway from the factory to your home's destination has to be able to accommodate both the length and the width of that vehicle.

When possible, our team will survey the route and see if there are any obstructions that might cause us trouble getting the home delivered. Narrow bridges could be an issue, as can narrow roadways / tree-lined roads, low power lines, very hilly roads and steep slopes.

Once the truck does manage to arrive, there has to be enough space for the truck to turn off of the road and onto your property.

The guide attached to this post shows what the transport company needs in order to have a smooth delivery.

Many customers need to widen their driveways to allow for the truck to enter. A few loads of gravel usually does the trick. You can always move the gravel somewhere else after the delivery is done if you want.
